The Magic Cabbage Seed

The Magic Cabbage Seed
Jaclyn

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Christina. She went to St. Joseph School and her teacher gave her class magic cabbage seeds. She went home and told her mom. “Mom my teacher gave the whole class magic cabbage seeds,” said Christina.
“Oh that’s great Christina! Go put the plant on the living room windowsill where the sun is,” said her mom. “Dad will be so proud of me,” thought Christina.
The next day, Christina went to school and talked to her friends, Amber and Gabs. Christina’s cabbage grew big; bigger than Gabs or Amber’s plant. The reason why it got so big was that it had water, sunlight, and fresh soil. Then Christina’s dad came home and said, “Christina, that’s a beautiful cabbage. I’m so proud of you.”
“Oh, thanks dad. I got it from you,” said Christina.
“Well, it’s time to do homework Christina,” mom interrupted.
            “Okay,” said Christina.
“Now, it’s time to go to bed Christina,” said mom.
“Goodnight, Mom! Goodnight, Dad! Love you!” Christina said.
Then when Christina was asleep her cabbage hit the ceiling and woke Christina up. She called her parents and then they rolled it into the garden, and went back to sleep.
When they woke up the next day, the cabbage had grown super big. They decided to climb it, and heard a voice…”Welcome to the Cabbage Kingdom,” said the Cabbage King.
“You are the Cabbage King? The famous one?” asked Christina.
“Yes I am,” said the Cabbage King. “And here are my kids: Green, Cabb, and last but not least, Abb.” Well, that is a great family you have there Mr. Cabbage King,” said Christina and her parents.
“Thank you! You also have a nice family too,” said Mr. Cabbage King.
“Well, we have to go. Christina has school and I have work,” said dad. “We will see you next time we grow a cabbage,” dad said.
“Goodbye,” said Christina and her parents.
“Goodbye,” said the Cabbage King and his three kids.
